What changes

Notice sooner. Speak clearly. Move with purpose.

This is not about memorising techniques or looking tough. It is about becoming more prepared to make good decisions when a situation feels wrong.

01

Spot trouble earlier

Read behaviour, surroundings and warning signs before pressure takes over.

02

Trust your boundary

Use posture, distance and a clear voice without feeling the need to apologise.

03

Stay composed

Think through adrenaline, avoid feeding the conflict and choose the safer next move.

04

Create a way out

Use movement and simple physical responses to make space, disengage and escape.

05

Get safely home

Leave with a practical plan for finding help, reporting concerns and supporting each other.

Made for real life

Your people. Your concerns. Your plan.

Every workshop and bespoke programme keeps this safety journey at its core, then adapts the scenarios, pace and physical training to your group’s ages, confidence, ability and priorities.

Go further

Build confidence with a bespoke programme.

Regular practice helps reinforce skills and build confidence gradually. We usually recommend at least three sessions, with the length and number tailored to your goals. The five-session prices below are a guide; ask for a proposal for other programme lengths.

1–3 peopleYouth, Adult or Family · Total booking price
  • 5 × 60 minutes£320
  • 5 × 90 minutes£465
  • 5 × 120 minutes£725
4–6 peopleYouth, Adult or Family · Total booking price
  • 5 × 60 minutes£405
  • 5 × 90 minutes£575
  • 5 × 120 minutes£725

Try a workshop first.

If you continue with the matching five-session programme, your workshop counts as session one and its payment comes off the programme total. You then have four sessions left. The same group/pricing tier and session length must apply; changed arrangements need a tailored quote.

Questions and answers

Before you choose.

Should I choose one workshop or a bespoke programme?

Choose one workshop for a focused introduction, refresher or specific concern. Choose a bespoke programme of three or more sessions when you want more physical practice, progression and time to revisit skills. You can try a workshop first: if you continue with the matching five-session programme, it counts as session one and its payment is deducted from the programme total.

Who can take part?

Youth workshops are for ages 8–15 with up to six participants. Adult workshops are for ages 16+ with up to six participants. Family workshops bring adults and children aged 8+ together, with up to six participants and at least one parent or carer taking part.

Can the training be tailored to us?

Yes. Every workshop and bespoke programme is shaped around the group’s ages, experience, confidence, priorities and relevant situations. The enquiry form lets you choose topics and explain what you want to get from the training.

Where does training take place?

Halstead Parish Room hire is included in the listed prices. Training can also take place at home where there is a safe, clear space. Travel is included within five miles of Sevenoaks, costs £20 from five to ten miles, and is quoted separately beyond ten miles.

Do we need experience or a particular fitness level?

No. Sessions are progressive and adaptable. Tell Ben about your group and goals in the enquiry form. Health information is collected separately and securely only after a session is agreed.

Does submitting the form make a booking?

No. It is a request. Ben reviews your group, preferred dates and priorities, then confirms the recommended plan, availability and final price with you.

What can we do after a workshop?

You can reinforce the session with a private 30-minute online Confidence Reset, continue physical development through a bespoke programme, or book a free weekly Youth trial for an eligible young person aged 8–15.

Changes and cancellation

Clear booking terms.

Free rescheduling with at least seven days’ notice. With less notice, one discretionary transfer may be offered, subject to availability. No refund for non-attendance or cancellation within 48 hours, except where StreetReady cancels. If StreetReady cancels, choose a new date or a full refund.

Safe participation

Progressive and adaptable.

No experience or particular fitness level is required. The enquiry form does not collect health information. That is handled separately and securely once a booking is agreed.
